Assalam O Alaikum & Ramadan Mubarak

As all of you know that the holy month of Ramadan is just around the corner.  May Allah swt

shower all of us with His Mercy and accepts our ibadaat.

The Islamic Information Center has been in operation since early 2002 and had to stop the Friday prayers

due to capacity and parking issues.  We purchased 1.62 acres of property ideally located opposite

the Las Vegas International Airport.

The property was purchased for one million dollars with approximately 3,000 square feet facility.

We have about $530,000 of Qarde Hassana.  IIC hopes to open the facility before Ramadan. 

There are a few permits still pending and we hope to get these done in the next week or so. 

Once the permits are taken care of, we will be able to build the access ramp from the Russell Road,

the parking and pavement, the new decorated block walls around the property and the required

landscape before we can open the facility.  The estimated cost for these projects is about $150,000.

Insha Allah with everyone’s help we plan to open the Center by the first day of Ramadan.  We

have arranged for two Huffaz for the Taraveeh.  This is a unique project in a unique city. This

will be a Great Sadaqa Jaariah, and we pray to Allah swt to accept our efforts in this and all
